The Quality of Goods is responsible for establishing quality management policies and acting with suppliers and internal customers in order to guarantee the supply of goods in accordance with the contractual technical requirements, building a collaborative relationship with our suppliers and assuring alignment with PETROBRAS needs.

The Quality of Goods carry out audits on suppliers in order to verify compliance with the technical requirements of the equipment, and focus on the manufacturing process, the product and the independent performance of the inspection body.

Suppliers with high level of quality in their processes and products may be released from the contracting of an inspection body. Suppliers may carry out the manufacturing inspection activity through their own resources.

Requirements of Materials Quality apply to critical and strategic family segments. Operating and yellow pages families are released from these requirements. Suppliers shall be according with General Quality Requirement (GQR) and the Complementary Quality Requirements (CQR). Complementary requirements are applicable for specific families. These requirements and a guide are available on Petronect Portal and Supplier Channel.
