1. The Petronect Portal works with IE 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10 and 11 with the compatibility view mode activated.
2. In order to best visualize the portal, we recommend setting the browser zoom to 100%.

Obs.: AlguSome functionalities may present error with IE 11.0. To verify your installed version, open your browser and click on “Help” and then “About Internet Explorer”.

Supported Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish

Java Runtime Environment (JRE):For a better navigation in the Petronect Portal, please install Java 8 or any higher version. Important: The Java installation is mandatory to access auctions. This application can be found here.

Adobe Acrobat Reader:It is necessary to install the application Adobe Acrobat Reader to open attachments. This application can be found here.

Internet Connection Requirements

We recommend broad band internet connection, otherwise, the system's time response may not be satisfactory. We would like to remember that the internet connection also depends on the number of users simultaneously connected in your company.

Your connection should offer an internet fixed IP. Moreover, if your company uses a proxy connection with Petronect Portal, a specific configuration is necessary. Please contact your company’s technical area to guarantee the correct configuration.

There are several tools and sites that can help you in measuring the speed of your internet connection. Please contact your support team for further information.

Files Upload

RecomWe recommend that, while sending proposals, vendors should use compacted documents or “lighter” formats.

Please see below tips to facilitate the process of uploading documents:

• To upload pictures, use “.JPG” format, a lighter format that will upload your document faster;
• To upload general documents, use “.PDF” (Acrobat Reader) in lower resolution, that will make it lighter;
• As an archive compactor, we recommend “.zip”;
• After the file upload, please verify the integrity of the document in the Portal. Petronect is not responsible for corrupted archives uploaded in the Portal;
• AftThe estimated upload time may vary depending on the document size and the internet quality. Petronect recommends to upload documents up to 5 mb, which approximately corresponds to:

In order to make your quotation process faster, Petronect provides a tool to submit prices and its conditions to multiple items (Only for materials). We recommend the use of this functionality for RFQs with more than 30 items.

Secure Site

Configure Internet Explorer to accept cookies from Petronect's site following the steps below:

• Access Tools menu (Internet Explorer) > Privacy > Sites
• At Managed websites – Address of website, type petronect.com.br and Allow.
